Abstract
This study aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of an English learning multimedia product based on the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach using the Linktree platform, specifically for teaching Instructional Texts to eighth-grade students. The research followed the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The feasibility testing involved six experts—two in content, two in instructional design, and two in media—who assessed the multimedia product across dimensions such as content quality, presentation, interactivity, visual layout, and technical efficiency. The results from all expert evaluations showed that the media was “highly feasible” for classroom use. Effectiveness was tested using a quasi-experimental design with a control class (conventional learning) and an experimental class (multimedia-based learning). The post-test results were analyzed using an Independent Sample t-Test, revealing a significant difference between the two groups. The experimental class achieved a higher average score (88.63) compared to the control class (81.59), with a significance value below 0.05. This indicates that the multimedia product not only meets expert standards for feasibility but also significantly improves student learning outcomes. The study concludes that multimedia integrated with PBL via Linktree is an effective digital learning tool that enhances engagement and understanding in English language instruction.
