Abstract

This research discusses how teachers implement picture cued as a media in
expository hortatory text learning. This research uses a type of qualitative
research where the data studied is taken from interviews with teachers and
transcripts of teacher speech in the classroom. In this research, it was found
that there are 2 things in the preparatory stage, namely preparation of
lesson plans and teaching equipment, then there are 6 stages in the media
(implementation stage), of which in the 5th stage there are 4 explanations in
the implementation stage. And finally there are 2 stages in the stage (followup
stage). And than teacher’s implemented picture cued as a media very
well in teaching writing Hortatory Exposition Text it seems from the data
that researcher got before. With this, it is hoped that the results of this
research will be useful for everyone who wants to know how to implement
picture cued as a learning media
