Abstract

To overcome the lack of teaching materials in schools is needed to develope Emodules based on SETS on science materials. This study aims to develop an E-Module based on SETS development, to know the feasibility level of the E-Modules by media and material experts, and to know teachers and student responses to the E-Modules based on SETS. Research development using the 4D method from Thiagarajan with four stages of development: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research instruments used are the interview guide sheet, front-end analysis, task analysis, media and material expert validation sheet, and teacher and students responses questionnaire with research subjects consisting of three science teachers and 20 students from class VII. The data analysis technique is quantitative and qualitative. Based on expert validation, the feasibility analysis results show 205≤216 based on media experts and 108.33≤116 based on material experts in the category “Very Feasibility”. The result of the teacher and student percentage of 95,67% in the “Very High” category by three
teachers and 88.94% in the “Very High” category by all subject research. E-module based on SETS was produced on science material in junior high school with material limited to global warming. It has been well-developed to be used in learning activities.
