Abstract

This study was conducted to look at factors that are thought to influence organizational citizenship behavior and to determine the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment, the effect of job satisfaction on achievement motivation, the effect of job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior, the influence of organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior and the effect of achievement motivation on organizational citizenship behavior at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan with a total of 323 people and the sample in this study amounted to 113 people with the sampling technique was cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, literature studies, interviews and observations. The data analysis technique used is path analysis using SPSS 24. This hypothesis test shows the path coefficient effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment of 0.670 at a significance level of 0,000, the effect of job satisfaction on achievement motivation of 0.771 at a significance level of 0,000, the effect of job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior at 0.254 at a significance level of 0.000, the influence of organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior of 0.153 at a significance level of 0.004, the effect of achievement motivation on organizational citizenship behavior of 0.605 at a significance level of 0,000. Thus the results of the study show that job satisfaction has a significant influence on organizational commitment, job satisfaction has a significant influence on achievement motivation, job satisfaction has a significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior, organizational commitment has a significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior, achievement motivation has a significant influence on Organizational Citizenship Behavior is acceptable.
