Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan : (1) pengaruh langsung persepsi kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap komitmen afektif guru, (2) pengaruh langsung persepsi kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi kerja, (3) pengaruh langsung budaya sekolah terhadap komitmen afektif guru, (4) pengaruh langsung budaya sekolah terhadap motivasi kerja guru, (5) pengaruh langsung motivasi kerja terhadap komitmen afektif guru. Subjek penelitian adalah guru SMP Negeri KecamatanTanjung Morawa Kabupaten Deli Serdang dengan jumlah sampe lsebanyak 131 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan berdasarkan table Isaac dan Michael,untuk tingkat kesalahan 5%. Penentuan sampel untuk setiap sekolah ditentukan secara proporsional random sampling, Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan analisis jalur yang bertujuan untuk menguji teori dan memperoleh informasi tentang penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan : (1) terdapat pengaruh langsung persepsi kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap komitmen afektif guru,(2) terdapat pengaruh langsung persepsi kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi kerja,(3) terdapat pengaruh langsung budaya sekolah terhadap komitmen afektif guru, (4) terdapat pengaruh langsung budaya sekolah terhadap motivasi kerja guru, (5) terdapat pengaruh langsung motivasi kerja terhadap komitmen afektif guru. Dengan demikian diharapkan hasi lpenelitian dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan komitmen afektif guru dapat dilakukan dengan memperhatikan factor persepsi tentang gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya sekolah, dan motivasi kerja guru.
