ANALISIS POLA ASUH ORANG TUA DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN KECERDASAN INTERPERSONAL ANAK DI RAUDHATUL ATHFAL AL MUKHLISIN KABUPATEN KARO

Parents are the main educators for children. Parents have a very important role in
the growth and development of children. This research aims to analyze the form
of parenting patterns in developing children's Interpersonal Intelligence. The
method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. This research was
carried out from March 2024 to July 2024. The data sources in the research were
15 students at RA Al-Mukhlisin and 15 parents/guardians of the students. The
data collection techniques used were observation and interview techniques. Data
were analyzed using data analysis from Miles and Hubermant with stages of data
reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity testing was
carried out with increased persistence and triangulation. The research results show
that 1). The parenting patterns applied by parents at RA Al-Mukhlisin are
authoritarian parenting, permissive parenting and democratic parenting. 2). The
intelligence of children at RA Al-Mukhlisin varies greatly, where 6 children
always display their interpersonal intelligence around them, 3 children rarely
display their interpersonal intelligence and 6 children never display their
interpersonal intelligence around them. 3). Democratic parenting style in
developing children's interpersonal intelligence is by inviting children to discuss,
always inviting children to tell stories and parents also being good listeners and
inviting children to social activities. Permissive parenting in developing children's
interpersonal intelligence is freeing children to explore, such as freeing children to
communicate and inviting children to discuss while playing. Furthermore,
authoritarian parenting in developing children's interpersonal intelligence is by
training children to be disciplined, such as understanding time limits.
