Abstract

This research aims to develop test instrument based on procedural
knowledge of fluid dynamic topic that meets the feasibility of a good test
instrument, including validity, reliability, difficulty level, discriminating power,
and student responses. This type of research is a Research and Development
(R&D) research ADDIE model with five stages, namely (1) analyze, (2) design,
(3) develop, (4) implement, and (5) evaluate. Research subjects namely XI-2 and
XI-3 class students totaling 50 students at SMA PAB 8 Saentis Percut Sei Tuan
and the test instrument developed in the form of an essay with 15 items. Based on
qualitative analysis, the quality of the test is good, with a average score of 92% by
the validator, meaning that the test is valid with little revisions. In Based on
quantitative analysis in small classes, it shows that 13 items are valid with a test
reliability of 0.95 while in large classes showed 12 valid items with a test
reliability of 0.91. Based on data analysis, the feasibility of test instrument is good
so that they can be used to train students' procedural knowledge on fluid dynamic
topic.
