Management Analysis on Gateball Sport Coaching in Pergatsi North Sumatera

This research aimed to analyze and describe the management of Gateball sport coaching in Pergatsi North Sumatera. This research used descriptive qualitative approach method. The data was collected by conducting interview, observation and documentation. Furthermore, the data was procesed by using data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data display, verification and drawing conclusions. The research subjects in this research were administrators, coaches and arhletes in Pergatsi North Sumatera. By conducting research using CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) the results showed that: 1) The management of gateball sports in Pergatis North Sumatera at the context stage had not been implemented maximally, 2) The managemen of gateball sports in Pergatsi North Sumatera at the input stage was running quite well, but there was still a need for improvement in terms of making standardization guidelines for coaches and referees. In addition, it was necessary to improve in terms if financial managemen, 3) The management of gateball sports in Pergatsi North Sumatera at the process stage had been running well, but it was necessary to increase the development program, namely the training program, nurseries and increase achievement which were not implemented maximally, 4) The management of gateball sports in Pergatsi North Sumatera at the product stage had been running well, but it needed improvement in terms of the addition of the club, the addition of national coaches and referees, achievements at the national coaches and referees, achievements at the national level and the intonation of the sport of gateball to the general public, as well as to to the students starting from the elementary level to the tertiary level must be improved.
