Abstract
This research attempts to explore children that suffer from DLD. The main focus
of this research is to analyze what language aspects are acquired by the children
and their realized patterns and construction of their language aspects that consist
of speech sound, syllable, vocabulary, and structure. This research has been done
to answer the following problems, and the researchers applied the descriptive of
quantitative and qualitative research. The study was conducted at Autism Home
Center (AHC) or “Lembaga Bimbingan Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus” with eight
children as appropriate as the subjects to be observed. The findings indicated that
found from three categories of autism that ASD, Asperger and Mental retardation
from their language aspects were utterances by children. It was from fourteen
aspects of language and found only eleven aspects. They are front vowel (fv),
central vowel (cv), back vowel (bv), consonant, one-syllable- two-syllable, threesyllable,
word, phrase, clause and sentence. Then the result of this research shows
that they can communicate with their limitations; over time, it can conclude that
this study is synchronous with the theories proposed by (Gleason: 1985).
