Abstract
The objective of this study was to describe the use of Moodle as a media in
teaching procedure text for the eleventh grade students at SMA Swasta Nurul
Islam Indonesia. The subject of this study was a teacher who used Moodle media.
This study used a descriptive qualitative design. The data were collected by using
observation and interviews. The research finding Moodle media showed that there
six steps how to use of Moodle such as: (1) Teacher Sign Up, (2) students Sign
Up, (3) Give Materials with Courses, (4) Posting Comments/Opinions in Forum
Discussion, (5) Working with Quiz, and (6) Give Grades. There are many features
and activities in Moodle to support the teaching and learning process. There are
dashboard, file management, progress tracking, multimedia integration, peer
assessments, and inline feedback. The following activities in Moodle are
assignment, chats, choice, quiz, database, forum, external tool, feedback, glossary,
lessons, scam package, survey, wifi, and workshops.
