Abstract
The objectives of this research were to find out: (1) the difference betweeen students learning of outcome in Indonesian taught with Team Games Tournament learning strategy and Expository teaching learning strategy, (2) the difference of Indonesian learning of outcome writing competence between students of Indonesian with Visual Learning style and Auditori Learning style and (3) to find out whether there was any interaction effect between learning strategy with learning style on the students outcome of Indonesian in writing competence . The population of this research was the students X Senior High School St. Yoseph Medan and students X Senior High School Budi Murni II Medan, involving 360 students, these sample were taken by using cluster random sampling method, the sample of this research was 86 students. The instrument that used the measure the outcome was test multiple choice with 5 options with 40 questions. To get data Learning Style used questionnaire valid according, for accord validity questionnaire was done by 40 students, from 24 questionnaire was taken 24 questionnaire used in reaseach. To get data the outcome in Indonesian used point biserial correlations formula and for Learning Style was using product moment formula. The research method used quasi experiment with factorial design 2x2. The data analysis technique was analysis of variance (ANOVA) two way at significant  = 0.05. The finding of the research showed that: (1) the students outcome in Indonesian that taught by Teams Games Tournament instructional strategy had a higher than outcome the students outcome that taught by Expository instructional strategy, (2) the students outcome in Indonesian that taught by leaening Visual style is higher than Auditori thinking style and (3) be found interaction between learning strategy with learning style on the students outcome of Indonesian. Based on the result of study, it is concluded that for the students with high learning Visual style, Teams Games Tournament instructional strategy had learning and students taught Expository aided learning strategy students with learning Auditori style.
