Abstract
This study aims to determine the comparison of students mathematical problem solving ability taught by Cooperative Learning models of Think Talk Write and Think Pair Share type in SMA Negeri 2 Kisaran. The population in this study were all students of class XI Science in SMA Negeri 2 Kisaran and the sample in this study were students of class XI IPA-1 34 students and class XI IPA-2 34 students. Class XI IPA-2 was taught by Think Talk Write and class XI IPA-1 was taught by Think Pair Share type. Data analysis techniques are normality, homogeneity and hypothesis. To test the hypothesis, used T-test, from the calculation results obtained From the analysis of post test data obtained that students t_count=2,811 while in the table t distribution list with opportunities (0,975;60) with α= 0,05 and dk= (n1 + n2 - 2), obtained t_tabel=1,7764 so 〖t_count>t〗_table=2,202>1,7764 then Ho rejected received Ha. So it can be concluded students problem solving ability by using Cooperative learning models of Think Talk Write is gretaher than Think Pair Share type in SMA Negeri 2 Kisaran.
