Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa dengan model pembelajarankooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) n Think Pair Share (TPS) pada materi Sel di kelas XI SMA Swasta Prayatna Medan T.P 2017/2018. Penelitian ini dilakukan dikelas IX IPA 1 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 30 orang, menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) dan kelas XI IPA 2 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 30 orang, menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS). Hasil belajar kelas Numbered Head Together (NHT) 80,1 (SD = 6,416) dan hasil belajar kelas Think Pair Share (TPS) 74,88 (SD = 5,818). Aktivitas siswa kelas Numbered Head Together (NHT) pada dua kali pertemuan adalah 80,41 dan aktivitas siswa kelas Think Pair Share (TPS) 79,99. Demikian hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) lebih baik dari pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif Numbered Head Together (NHT) dan Think Pair Share (TPS) pada materi Sel di kelas XI SMA Swasta Prayatna Medan T.P 2017/2018.
