Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui terdapat pengaruh konsep diri dan kebiasaan belajar terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 36 Medan T.A 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode expost facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 36 Medan. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling berjumlah 39 sampel. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah dua buah angket yang berjumlah 30 butir dan tes essay yang berjumlah 3 butir soal. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil penelitian yang menunjukan persamaan regresi linear berganda . Melalui uji t tidak ada pengaruh antara konsep diri terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dengan nilai thitung < ttabel (0,040 < 2.0281) dengan nilai signifikansi lebih besar dari taraf signifikansi 0,05 (0,968 > 0,05). Dan ada pengaruh kebiasaan belajar terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dengan nilai thitung > ttabel (2,567 > 2,0281) dengan nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari taraf siginifikansi 0,05 (0,014 < 0,05). Serta ada pengaruh antara konsep diri dan kebiasaan belajar terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 36 Medan T.A 2019/2020 dengan nilai Fhitung > Ftabel (6,295 > 3,26) dan nilai sig α sebesar 0,004 < 0,05. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan uji-t (parsial) konsep diri tidak berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa namun kebiasaan belajar berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Dengan uji F (simultan) konsep diri dan kebiasaan belajar berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 36 Medan T.A 2019/2020 dengan besar kontribusi 25,9%.
