Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbaikan hasil belajar lempar tangkap bola dalam permainan bola kasti melalui metode demonstrasi pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 060851 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 060851 Medan berjumlah 28 orang, yang diberikan tindakan berupa pengajaran lempar tangkap bola melalui metode demonstrasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (classroom action research) yang dapat dianalisis. Untuk memperoleh data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan tes hasil belajar lempar tangkap bola diakhir setiap siklus yang berbentuk aplikasi penilaian berupa portofolio, penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama dua minggu atau dua kali pertemuan. Setelah data terkumpul dilakukan analisis, maka diperoleh hasil analisisnya dengan diberikan penerapan melalui metode demonstrasi. Maka diperoleh tes hasil belajar pada siklus I sebanyak 21 orang siswa yaitu 75% telah mencapai tingkat ketuntasan belajar dan 7 orang siswa yaitu 25% belum mencapai tingkat ketuntasan belajar. dengan nilai KKM 65 siswa tuntas belajar pada siklus I sebanyak 21 orang (75%) sedangkan siswa dengan kategori belum tuntas dalam belajar sebanyak 3 orang (10,71%) dan ketuntasan siswa pada siklus II sebanyak 25 orang (89,21%). Pembelajaran lempar tangkap bola melalui metode demonstrasi dapat memberikan pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap proses pembelajaran lempar tangkap bola kasti bagi siswa kelas V SD Negeri 060851 Medan Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017.
