Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis (1) hasil belajar IPA siswa yang diajarkan dengan dengan model Problem Based Learning berbasis kolaboratif lebih tinggi dari siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung (Direct Instruction) pada materi pokok Tata Surya pada tahun ajaran 2015/2016. (2) hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan naturalis tinggi lebih tinggi dari siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan naturalis rendah. (3) interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan kecerdasan naturalis dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain two group pre-tes dan post-tes. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa SD Swasta Bharlind Medan Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 yang terdiri dari 90 orang siswa yang terdistribusi dalam 3 kelas yaitu kelas VI A, VI B, VI C. Dari tiga kelas di sekolah tersebut, sampel penelitian diambil dari 2 (dua) kelas, yaitu kelas VI A dan kelas VI B. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling class,kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas VIA yang diajarkan dengan model Problem Based Learning berbasis kolaboratif dengan jumlah siswa 28 orang. Sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung (direct instruction) terpilih kelas VI-B dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 27 orang siswa. Instrumen yang diberikan terdiri dari tes hasil belajar dan tes kecerdasan naturalis. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) hasil belajar IPA siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model PBL berbasis kolaboratif berbeda secara signifikan dan lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model Direct Instruction (2) Siswa dengan kecerdasan naturalis tinggi menunjukkan hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi dibanding dengan siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan naturalis rendah. hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran dan kecerdasan naturalis mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa, (3) terdapat interaksi antara kedua model pembelajaran dan tingkat kecerdasan naturalis dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa.
