Woman Struggle Of Megyn Kelly Character In Bombshell (2019) Movie

Principally this research attempts to find out 1) the kinds of woman struggle by
Megyn’s character in Bombshell (2019) movie. 2) the ways of the struggle were
done. 3) the reasons of woman struggle. The research is done by descriptive
qualitative research with the data source is the movie text script of Bombshell
(2019) movie. The instrument of collecting data is documentary sheet. The
research results show that 1) There were 26 struggles in the category woman
struggle. There are three struggle categories, namely resist sexism (30.76%),
sexist exploitation (30.76%), and struggle from oppression (38.46%). 2) There are
three ways how the struggles were done by Megyn’s character namely; reject the
resist sexism, reject the sexist exploitation and reject the oppression. 3). The
reasons of woman struggle of Megyn’s character that is Megyn Kelly denies male
harassment for women. She wants gender equality in all scopes, especially the
scope of work to be comfortable for anyone, especially women without worrying
about getting unfair treatment.
