Developing Video Tutorial As Learning Media In Teaching Descriptive Text For Grade X SMA Negeri 1 Selesai

This research was aimed to Develop Video Tutorial as media of teaching
descriptive text for tenth grade SMA Negeri 1 Selesai. This research was applied
Research and Development model purpose Gall & Borg (2003) through six steps,
there are : gathering data and information, conducting need analysis, designing,
experts validating, revising, producing final product. The participants of this
research were 30 students of tenth grade of SMA Negeri 1 Selesai. The instrument
of collecting data were the teachers interview and students questionnaire result.
The data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis. The product has been
validated by an English lecturer and English teacher with the percentage was
95.0%. The product was categorized as “ Very Good” media in teaching writing
descriptive text. The result of the product was presentation that contain in audio
visual media to be used in mastering in teaching descriptive text.
