DEVELOPING MEDIA FOR TEACHING SPEAKING PROCEDURE TEXT TO EIGHT GRADE STUDENTS AT MTSN 2 DELI SERDANG BY USING ZEPETO APPLICATION

This study aims to develop media using Zepeto in teaching speaking procedural texts. This study was conducted at MTSN 2 Deli Serdang using the research and development (R&D) model by Borg and Gall (2003). The subjects of this study
were 29 students of grade VIII at MTSN 2 Deli Serdang. This study collected data through observation by observing existing worksheets, interviews with English teachers, and distributing questionnaires to 29 students. Based on the data collected, students need appropriate speaking media for procedural text topics in order to attract students' interest to focus on learning and increase motivation and
facilitate adaptive and personal learning, especially in speaking material. Media created with the Zepeto Application can help students practice speaking skills while encouraging active participation in the teaching and learning process
through the presentation of games. The two experts validated the media created for students. The average value of the student media produced was 89.5%, which indicates that it is very good and suitable for speaking teaching methods.
