Abstract
Assessment media has an important role in the student learning process. The research focuses on the development of a digital assessment tool using Wordwall for writing assessment in procedure text material at SMA Budisatrya Medan. The study follows the Research and Development (R&D) method by Borg and Gall, involving several key stages: gathering data and information, conducting needs analysis, developing the E-assessment tool, validating with experts, revising the product based on feedback, and finalizing the product. Data collection utilized questionnaires to assess student needs and interviews with an English teacher to
gather insights. The study involved 32 Grade XI students from SMA Budisatrya Medan. Validation from two validators, a lecturer and an English teacher showed overall feasibility scores of 90%, indicating the tool is very feasible for use. In conclusion, the research demonstrates that Wordwall can effectively serve as a writing assessment tool in the learning process at SMA Budisatrya Medan and potentially in other educational institutions. The findings aim to benefit educators and stakeholders interested in developing writing assessment media using digital tools like Wordwall.
