Abstract
This research aims to determine the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning Model
with Doratoon Animation Power Points and Powtoon Animation Power Points on student learning
outcomes and student motivation on Reaction Rate learning materials. The research design used
was a pretest - posttest control group design with a sample of two classes selected by random
sampling and selected classes XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 3. The instrument used was a test instrument
with multiple choice questions and a non-test, namely a motivation questionnaire. student. In the
Wilcoxon test results, learning outcomes obtained a value of Asymp.sig < α, namely 0.001 < 0.05,
so that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted so that learning outcomes were higher in classes that
used the contextual teaching and learning model with Doratoon animated power point media. The
motivation test with Wilcoxon resulted in an Asymp.sig value of 0.007 which is smaller than α=
0.05 so that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected, which shows that learning motivation is higher
in classes taught using the contextual teaching and learning model with animated power point
media. Doratoon. In the interaction test with the wilcoxon test, an Asymp.sig value of 0.001 was
obtained which indicated a value < of α= 0.05 so that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected, so
there was an interaction between the model and the media on students' final motivation on the
reaction rate material.
