THE DYNAMIC OF INTERACTION IN CONVERSATION IN THE ENGLISH TEXTBOOK

This research is about the analysis of the dynamic of interaction in conversation in the English Textbook. The objectives of this research are to investigate the requirements of a decent conversation through the dynamic of interaction based on the structure of interaction theory to show the pattern of interaction that is potentially appears in conversation in the English Textbook “English Skills for the Future” then analyze the dynamic that are existed in every conversations in the textbook entitled “English Skills for the Future”. This research used the library research in which the data were collected in the form of book, relevant to the object of research or collecting data in literary form that consists of conversation. The data were taken from the English workbook used by the eleventh grade students. In analyzing the data, researcher used the steps of collecting data, analyzing data, and taking conclusion. The result of this research is that the most of the conversations on this study (taken from English Textbook “English Skills for the Future” are lack of variation of pattern (there are six conversations).
