Abstract
This thesis studies about The Role of Mind Mapping to Increase English Vocabulary for Students at Elementary School. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of the mind-mapping technique in teaching vocabulary can increase students' vocabulary. This research used an experimental method, and the design was one group of pre-test, and post-test. The population was the fourth-grade students of SD N 066666 2022/2023 Academic Year, consisting of 19 students. It was taken by the census sampling technique. The instrument for the research was a test. This research consisted of two variables; the dependent variable was the student’s English vocabulary to the fourth-grade students of SD N 066666, and the independent variable was the mind-mapping technique. The result of the research hypothesis was acceptable because the significance result indicates a=0.01 that there is a significant difference that the mind map technique has an impact on improving vocabulary.
