Abstract
The goal of this study was to develop interactive e-book using Flip PDF Professional
as digital learning media for writing narrative text in grade X at SMA Global Prima
Medan. This study was classified as a research and development (R&D) study.
Conducting a need analysis, creating a program, validating it with an expert, revising
it, and producing the final product were the steps. The thirty-five students in class X
MIPA 1 in Global Prima National Plus School were the subjects of this research.
Questionnaires were used to obtain the information. The results of this study show that
interactive e-books for teaching narrative texts are effective and practical. It can be
determined from the results of the validator's validation, as well as the teacher's and
student's responses after using this interactive media. The validator's results showed a
value of 93.4 percent, which is considered very valid. Furthermore, the teacher's
response showed score of 95.5 %, which was classified as very practical. In addition to
the results of the student replies, 93.6 % of the results are characterized as very
