Abstract
This study was a descriptive-qualitative approach that analyzed the teacher talk categories and students talk categories during the online classroom interaction on grade XII at SMA Negeri 1 Pangururan. Researcher used video recording and transcript as the instrument for collecting the data. The data were analyzed by using data condensation, data display and conclusion drawing/verification. The data analysis showed that teacher and students used all category recommended by Flanders, the teacher more dominant in the online classroom interaction than the students. The percentage of teacher talk in class XII Pmipa Unggulan was 63.03%, the percentage of students talk in class XII Pmipa Unggulan was 31.24% and category of silence or confusion was 6.25%. The dominant category used by the teacher in class XII Pmipa Unggulan was Asks questions by 22.32% and the dominant category used by the students in class XII Pmipa Unggulan was student talk-response by 24.10%. All the category interaction based on Flander’s Interaction Analysis Category System (FIACS) occurred in the online classroom during teaching and learning process at grade XII Pmipa Unggulan of SMA Negeri 1 Pangururan.
