Abstract
Chemical material on the sub-subject of reaction rates is considered difficult because it is very abstract for students. To solve this problem, one solution is to use more attractive learning media. The learning media that will be developed is Macromedia Flash 8 based learning media. The learning media in this study contain basic competencies, materials, and sample questions. The research method used is the Research and Development (R & D) method with a development process using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The ADDIE model development research was carried out only up to the Implementation stage, because the purpose of this study was only to see how student learning outcomes after being taught using Macromedia Flash 8-based learning media. The data collection instruments consisted of material and media expert validation sheets, and instruments. test to see student learning outcomes. The material feasibility assessment was given to one lecturer with a total score of 89.28% and one teacher with a total score of 92.85%, the average score was 91.07% with a very feasible category. The media feasibility assessment was given to one lecturer with a total score of 89.58% and one teacher with a total score of 90.62%, the average score was 90.10% with a very feasible category. Student learning outcomes after being taught using learning media based on Macromedia Flash 8 were greater than the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), which was an average of 80.75. Based on research and discussion, it can be concluded that the learning media developed are valid with a very feasible category and student learning outcomes are greater than KKM.
