Abstract
The aim of this study was to develop a valid and practical bilingual mathematics pocket book to improve students’ ability in understanding mathematical terms in English especially in trigonometry material. The study was held by online in November – December 2020 at Mathematics Laboratory of Universitas Negeri Medan. The subject of this research was 10 students from grade X. This study was a research and development (R & D) study using the ADDIE Model consisting of five steps: (1) analyze, (2) design, (3) develop, (4) implement, and (5) evaluate. The data analysis technique used in this study was quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The result of the study shows that the product was valid and practical. The developed bilingual mathematics pocket book has been declared valid in terms of media validity and material validity with the percentage of 92.64% and 83.69% respectively.
