Abstract
This thesis relates to the acquisition of Indonesian sentences by ten year olds with receptive language disorders who are not yet mature in language. This thesis focuses on the types of sentences produced by ten-year-olds, influencing factors and developmental theory used to develop sentences in ten-year-olds. The aims of this study are to determine the types of Indonesian sentences produced by ten year olds, to find factors that influence sentence acquisition in ten year olds, and to make social interaction theory a development in language for ten year olds. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods and recorded conversations from daily activities as a technique of data collection. The data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman & Saldana (2014) model. The results of the study based on the type of sentence there are 26 interrogative sentence data which is the most of the four sentence types, 21 intejective sentence data, 19 imperative sentence data, 9 declarative sentence data. And it was found that the factors that greatly influence the acquisition of sentences are parents and the lack of stimulus from social interaction. The last finding is that social interaction theory is an option in the language development of ten-year-old children. The conclusions obtained are related to the theory from Aitchison (1984) which says that 10-year-old children are very mature in language, and the results of this study found that ten-year-olds are not too mature in language.
