Abstract
This study aims to determine the validity level of student worksheets based on guided inquiry on bacterial subject matter for tenth grade at SMAN 7 Tanjungbalai according to the material expert; education expert; design expert; teacher assessment in the field of study and responses of students. The type of research used is research and development (R & D) following the Borg and Gall model. This research was conducted February-May 2020 at SMAN 7 Tanjungbalai. Subjects in this study were students of Tenth Grade MIA4 SMAN 7 Tanjungbalai, the object of this research was in the form of Student Worksheets, which had been producted, validated by material expert, education expert, and design expert. The results of the study showed that the average percentage of the material expert assessment was 87,7% (very good); education expert 97,9% (very good); design expert 73,7% (good), teacher response are 93% (very good); and the percentage of students' responses to the trial in small group trials 96% (very good). The product testing was declared effective with a value of 80,8% with a "good" interpretation. The results of the study show that student worksheets on viral material can be used in the learning process.
