Abstract
The aim of the implementation of the website based learning media using a scramble type cooperative learning model on redox reaction is to know the student’s achievement in SMA Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi. The students were divided into two groups. First was a controlled class in X IPA VIII and the second was experiment class in X IPA VI based on purposive random sampling techniques. The first time, a pre-test will be given in control and experiment class then giving the treatment. In the control class without website media was used using a scramble type cooperative learning model and in the experiment, the class was used website media with using a scramble type cooperative learning model. The last treatment was by giving a post-test. Based on the result in the control class was obtained the average of pre-test scores 30.66 and post-test score 61.33. In the experiment, the class has obtained the average of pre-test scores 37.16 and post-test score 68.83. The data should be normal and homogeny. The hypothesis test should be used right side t-test. The criterion of the hypothesis was received Ha if the value of tcount > ttable. From the result was obtained the value of tcount was 2.907. It means that tcount (2.907) > ttable (2.000). Hypothesis alternative (Ha) was received and hypothesis null (Ho) was rejected. It proved that student’s achievement using website media with using a scramble type cooperative learning model was higher than using a scramble type cooperative learning model. Increasing the student's achievement was calculated by using the percentage gain in the control class was 44% and the experiment class was 50%.
