Abstract
This study is a descriptive qualitative research which aimed to analyze the cognitive dimension based on Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy in reading questions in textbook "Bahasa Inggris Siswa Kelas X SMA / MA / SMK / MAK” published by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The data were 15 texts consisted of 180 reading questions which taken from textbook "Bahasa Inggris Siswa Kelas X SMA / MA / SMK / MAK” published by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the data were analyzed by using table analysis of cognitive dimensions of revised taxonomy bloom’s. This is inversely proportional to the indicators of the achievement of the success of the 2013 curriculum which is the use of textbooks
have not reached the 2013 curriculum implementation criteria standards which are required to think at a high level, while the book still dominates lower thinking level.
