EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN METODE ROLE PLAYING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI POKOK SISTEM EKSKRESI MANUSIA KELAS XI IPA SMA NEGERI 1 BINJAI T.P. 2017/2018

This study aims to determine whether the method of learning Role Playing effectively used for student learning outcomes on the subject matter of human excretion system class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Binjai learning year 2017/2018. This type of research is Pre Experimental, with pre-test and post-test group. The population of this study is all students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Binjai consisting of 7 classes, with the number of 274 students and the sample of this study is class XI IPA 6 and class XI IPA 7 taken by random sampling (randomly). The instrument used in the research is an objective test of 30 multiple choice questions that have been tested for its validity. The value of learning outcomes obtained by IPA 6 students at the time of pre-test is 61,2 and after applied the method of learning Role Playing then done post-test obtained an average score of 83. While the value of learning outcomes obtained by students IPA 7 class at pre -test is 64.1 and after applied the learning method of Role Playing then done post-test obtained average value 81,25. The learning result obtained in IPA 6 and IPA 7 classes is 83% and 81,25% with high category, the level of science material of science class 6 and IPA 7 class are obtained 83% and 81,25% including high category, the achievement of the indicator of learning achieved by the percentage of 84,3% in science class 6 and 82,02% in IPA class 7. Based on indicators of effectiveness of learning it can be concluded that the method of learning Role Playing effectively used on the subject matter of human excretion system class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Binjai years of learning 2017/2018.
