Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepemimpinan kepala sekolahdan motivasi kerja baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap kinerja guruSMA Negeri 1 Lumban Julu T.P 2018/2019.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex- post facto dengan pendekataan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SMA Negeri 1 Lumban Julu. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 42 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Uji validitas dengan menggunakan teknik analisis product moment dan reliabilitas angket menggunakan rumus Alpha Croanbanch. Persamaan regresi linear berganda menunjukkan Y = 18,163 + 0,642 (X1)
+ 0,127 (X2). Hasil uji t (parsial) menunjukkan Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja guru. Motivasi Kerja
berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Guru. Secara simultan, kategori Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dan Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Guru. Hasil uji determinasi (R2) sebesar 82,4 %
dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian.
