Abstract

The problem in this research is the low level of motivation studied economics. This research aims to find out: 1) Influence the granting of Reinforcement Against Motivation studied economics, 2) influence of variations of Teaching Against Motivation studied economics, 3) Influence the awarding of the reinforcement and Motivation Towards Learning Teaching Variations Economy Class IX Students of SMP Negeri 8 Medan T.A. 2017/2018 with a population of 340 students and with the samples as many as 100 students. The selection of the sample in this research was conducted at random (random sampling).
He research results obtained from the equation a linear multiple regression of Y = 44.483 + 0, 332X1 + 0, 348X2 + e. Based on testing the hypothesis partially retrieved results positively influential learning motivation towards learning achievements with the value of the thitung variable the awarding of the reinforcement (X 1) is of significance to the value of 2.159 0.000 partial hypothesis test and results of variations of teaching suggests that variations in teaching also has positively against the motivation of learning with a value of thitung 2.204 and value the significance of 0.003. As for the hypothesis test simultaneously obtained the results of learning motivation and the repetition of subject matter in a positive effect with a value of Fhitung is of significance and value 5.645 is 0.000.
Based on a test of the determination of the coefficient obtained value R2 of 0.510 meaning giving of reinforcement and teaching contribute to variation of 51.0% against motivation studied economics and the rest ffected by other variables that are not discussed in this study. The conclusion from this study is there influence awarding of reinforcement and variations of the teaching positively and significantly to the motivation of learning economy grade IX SMA Negeri 8 MedanTahun Teaching 2017/2018.
