Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the teacher’s authentic assessment on writing based on 2013 Curriculum of the eighth grade students. It used qualitative research method to collect and analyze the teacher’s authentic assessment. The data of this study were taken from two English classes of VIII T-1 and VIII T-4 of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan. The findings showed from the documents analysis, the percentage of the conformity of the implementation of teacher’s authentic assessment based on 2013 Curriculum is 50.1%. The result showed that the implementation of teacher’s authentic assessment based on 2013 Curriculum in SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Medan is in category of sufficient. It showed that the implementation of teacher’s authentic assessment categorized sufficient due to some obstacle and supporting factors. Teacher’s authentic assessment implementation already measured the aspect of affective, cognitive and psychomotor based on 2013 Curriculum
