Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan saintifik terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi keanekaragaman hayati di SMA Swasta Ahmad Yani Binjai T.P. 2018/2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimen dengan desain one shot case study. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 90 siswa melalui total sampling. Efektivitas pembelajaran diketahui dari nilai penguasaan materi siswa, ketuntasan belajar dan ketercapaian indikator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai penguasaan materi siswa sebesar 79,74 (baik), ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 86,77% dan persentase ketercapaian indikator sebesar 75%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik pada materi keanekaragaman hayati efektif terhadap hasil belajar siswa.
