Abstract

This study is aim : (1) The students outcomes chemistry learning which learned with computers media eXe program in inquiry learning, (2) The effect of level students learning activities on student results learning in chemistry, (3) The Interaction between inquiry learning with computers media eXe program and students learning activities in affecting learning results. This research is a quasi experiment. The population is all of the high school student in grade XI IPA academic year 2010/2011. The samples from SMA Negeri 2 Lubuk Pakam, that consists of two classes with 64 students. The research instruments are achievement test, questionnaire and observation instruments students learning activities. The test achievement test used microsofi Excel. and from the 30 items tested there are 23 the valid items . The reliability test is got r11 0.842 (very high). The research data collected from the sample is in the form of student activity data obtained from observation and questionnaires, and students test results obtained from studying the form of 23 multiple choice questions. Qualification test has been carried out in the form of normality and homogeneity test, which showed that normal and homogeneous data. The hypothesis was tested by General Linear Model (GLM) Univariate at the 0.05 level using SPSS 15.00.According the data analysis and hypotesis it has been found that: (1) The students outcomes learning which learned with computer eXe program in inquiry learning are 18% higher than student outcomes learning without computer media. The students outcomes learning which learned with computer eXe program in inquiry learning calculated a mean score gain of 0.77 (high category), student outcomes learning which learned without computer eXe program in inquiry learning got a mean score gain of 0.63 (medium category) (2) Students who have high levels of learning activity obtain results of higher learning compared with students who have learning medium or low activity. (3) There was no significant interaction between the applied learning strategies and student activities learning in influenced the outcome students learning chemistry of high school.
