Abstract

This study aims to produce web-based learning media or Web Enhanced Course by
using Home Online Trading System (HOTS) application integrated with macromedia
flash and iSpring to develop an interactive learning media. HOTS applications not
only can be used as a real transaction tool in the capital market but also can also be
used as a simulation tool. This type of research is a development study that integrates
Dick and Carey models to develop substance material and Borg and Gall models to
develop the media. This material is arranged systematically as part of the capital
market course but only limited to one Learning Achievement is "Able to conduct
transactions in stock exchanges starting from the opening of an investment account to
the process of buying and selling transactions". Media development will be
implemented through three stages. First, carry out a preliminary study that refers to
the Dick and Carey model to formulate the material to be conveyed through
instructional media. Second, build and integrate learning process with web support
through HOTS and iSpring application as online test tool using macromedia flash.
Third, media are tested through various stages of validation by capital market material
experts, learning design experts, software experts and graphic design experts,
individual testing, small group testing, and field testing. The quality of developed
media was evaluated using a questionnaire. The result of evaluation of test subject is
accumulated and analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis technique. Based on this,
it can be concluded that the interactive learning media developed to reach the level of
"very good" so it can be said that the hypothesis of this study can be accepted. This
means that media developed feasible to use. In addition to the results of the assessment,
based on data obtained at all stages of testing, it was concluded that the interactive
learning media generated in this study has provided various positive benefits of
increased motivation, learning efficiency, conformity with the speed of learning of
each student.
