REPRENSENTATION OF EXPERIENTIAL FUNCTION OF NATIONAL ANTHEM OF INDONESIA

This qualitative study is aimed to find the Representation of Experiential Fuction of National Anthem of Indonesia. It was conducted by applying documentary study. The data analysis for this research was the text of National Anthem of Indonesia. The data were collected by applying a documentary technique. The document was read and analyzed to find out the Experiential Function. The data were analyzed by some procedures: data condensation, data display and drawing conclusion. The findings of the research show that the relational process (attribution), sayer and verbiage participants and location circumstances are dominantly used in the text. The were so many ellipsis words in the text. The ellipsis word was chosen based on the context or the purpose of the clause and because they refer to the phrase in the previous line. And the last finding was the elements of experiential function were used based on the content and the purpose of the text. The relational process was used dominant because relational process is the process of being (including having). It involves with the statement of indentifying something. It also involves with the quality identification of something. The dominant participants are sayer and verbiage because the sayer is the people that were presenting their love to the land and verbiage is the quality of the Indonesia. The location circumstance is used dominant because the song is talking about the land (location).
