Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kompetensi guru teknik pemesinan membuat proposal PTK melalui penerapan pelatihan dengan strategi mastery learning di SMK Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru-guru program studi teknik pemesinan di SMK Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar berjumlah 8 (delapan) orang. Subjek penelitian ditentukan dengan carapurposive. Instrumen penelitian untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru membuat proposal PTK digunakan adalah daftar cocok dengan jumlah indikator sebanyak 50. Sedangkan untuk mengamati pelatihan dengan strategi mastery learninguntuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru membuat proposal PTK digunakan lembar observasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan sekolah dengan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwaterjadi peningkatan kompetensi guru membuat proposal PTK pada siklus I dengan rata-rata persentase ketuntasan guru dalam membuat proposal PTK 78,50%. Pada siklus II rata-rata peningkatan kompetensi guru membuat proposal PTK sebesar 100%..Berdasarkan hasil analisis data disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pelatihan dengan strategi mastery learning dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru teknik pemesinan membuat proposal PTK di SMK Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar.
