Abstract

This study arms to determine the method of learning music used in SLB/ABCD PK Hephata in Laguboti, know the learning in extracurricular music on SLB/ABCD PK Hephata in Laguboti, then know what the difficulty experienced lecturer in music at SLB/ABCD PK Hephata extracurricular activities in Laguboti. This study also aims to determine the outcome of extracurricular music instruction obtained by students SLB/ABCD PK Hephata in Laguboti.Theory used in this study is about learning theory, method, extracurricular, music, musical instrument, and special schools (SLB).The research carried out im the district Toba Samosir Laguboti. Methods used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The study sample was two teachers and all the students who participated in extracurricular music lessons at the school, where the total is 22. To complete the data in this study, researchers conducted field observations interviews, audiovisual documentation and study of literature.This study shows that the method of learning music in SLB/ABCD PK Hephata sociodramas method, orientation method, lecture method, demonstrastion method, mobility method, experimental method, question and answers method, the method exercise, method of assignment and recitation. Extracurricular learning music at SLB/ABCD PK Hephata in Laguboti have a stage that is, giving reasons in learning the music, the selection of provision of material, cited song by the teachers, practice, practice administration tasks. Theacher have difficulty factor is the condition of the student physical weakness, difficulty in selecting the song, demands proficient Braille writer result obtained by the students, the average score of student who are considered to have increased the value of H3. The final result (N.a) are the average value of a good student and had sufficient valve list
