Abstract
The aims of thus study to determine : (1) Differences instructional out comes of making pattern Kebaya Modification student who are taught with Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL and learning out comes of make pattern Kebaya Modification Student who are taught with Expository Instructional Strategies (2) Differences in learning out comes of making pattern Kebaya Modification beyond student have high motivation for success with student who have low motivation for success and (3) The interaction between learning out come with motivation for success on learning strategy of making pattern Kebaya Modification. This research conducted at SMK Negeri 10 Medan on even semester academic year 2013/2014. The population is all student Tata Busana Class XI as many as 103 persons, the sample is class XI Tata Busana 1 with 34 student and class XI Tata Busana 2 as manyas 35 student. The instrument used to collect data which is test of learning out comes and questionnaire of motivation for success. The research method used quasi experimental design with 2x2 factorial study. ANOVA analysis using two pathways significant at level α = 0,05. Result of analysis showed that (1) Learning out comes make pattern Kebaya Modification who are taught with Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) higher than the learning out comes make pattern Kebaya Modification who are taught with the expository teaching strategies (Fcount = 4,265 > Ftable = 4,07). (2) There are significant differences between learning out comes make pattern Kebaya Modification who have high motivation for success with student who have low motivation for success (F count = 94,33 > F table = 4,07) and (3) There is interaction between learning strategy and motivation for success on learning out comes making pattern Kebaya Modification (Fcount = 4,741 > Ftable = 4,07).
Result of the research can be concluded that the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) learning strategies type better taught to student who have hight motivation for success and expository learning strategy is good use to student who have low motivation for success and there is interaction between learning strategy and motivation on for success. The implications of the results is indicating that student taught with Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) strategies type of higher learning result of the students who ware taught with the expository teaching strategy. Student who have hight motivation for success have higher learning out comes when taught with CTL learning strategies. Student who have low motivation of success have higher learning out comes when taught with the expository teaching strategy.
