Abstract

This study is intended to find out the effect of applying Quantum Teaching on Students’ Mastery in Adjective Clause. This studyused experimental design. The population of this study is the second grade of SMK Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar. Two classes were taken by applying clusters sampling lottery technique to be experimental and control group as the sample of this study. The experimental group is taught by Quantum Teaching, while the control group is taught without Quantum Teaching. The instrument of the data collection is multiple choices concern of adjective clause. After the data had been collected, they were analyzed by using t-test formula. The result of the analysis reveals that t-observed (3.07) is higher than t-table (1.67) with the level of significance 0.05 and the degree of freedom (df) 58. The result reveals that alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Thus, it is suggested that the english teacher apply Quantum Teaching when teaching adjective clause
