Abstract
The aim of this study was to develop teaching media through Dubbing Video on narrative text ninth grade students at SMP Al-Hijrah Medan. This study was
conducted by using Research and Development (R&D) design. The data was consisted of information who gathered by validating from the validators and distributing questionnaires to the students. The instrument used in this study was questionnaires. The data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative analysis. The result of the product from two validators – by an English Lecturer from state University of Medan and by an English Teacher from SMP Al-Hijrah Medan, was in a good scale it comes from the experts or validators. The first validators gave
94%for the content aspect and got 94% for the audio and visual aspect. Beside that from the second validator evaluation got 90% for the content aspect and got
were 92% for the audio and visual aspect
