Abstract

The aim of this research was to develop a valid, practical and effective of digital module using ELPSA learning design to improve understanding concept in cube and cuboid material. The research was held by in February – Mei 2022 at UPT SMP Negeri 27 Medan. The subject of this research was 23 students from grade VIII. This research was a research and development (R & D) study using the ADDIE Model which consist of five steps: (1) analyze, (2) design, (3) develop, (4) implement, and (5) evaluate. The data analysis technique used in this study was quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The result of the study shows that the digital module was valid, practical and effective. The developed digital mathematics module has been declared valid in terms of material validity and media validity with the score of 3,78 and 3,28 respectively. The developed digital mathematics module has also been declared practical in terms of student responses with a percentage of 86,65% and can improve students’ understanding concept in cube and cuboid material effectively with the score of 3,55.
