Abstract
Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan instrument tes berbasis High Order Thinking (HOT) pada materi Hukum Gerak Newton yang layak untuk digunakan dalam evaluasi hasil pembelajaran siswa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas XI MIA 4 SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan dengan jumlah 30 orang. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan desain penelitian ADDIE. Angket yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket validasi ahli dan angket respon siswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi ahli memiliki nilai CVR (Content Validity Ratio) tertinggi yaitu 4 (sangat valid) dan terendah 1 (kurang valid). Hasil validitas butir memiliki nilai r_hitung tertinggi yaitu 0,603 (valid) dan r_hitung terendah yaitu 0,162 (tidak valid), hasil uji reliabilitas memiliki nilai 0,587 (reliabilitas sedang), hasil tingkat kesukaran memiliki nilai tersukar 0,283 (tingkat kesukaran sedang) dan nilai terendah 0,866 (tingkat kesukaran mudah), hasil daya beda soal memiliki nilai pembeda tertinggi 0,510 (sangat baik) dan terendah 0 (jelek). Berdasarkan keterangan tersebut, maka kesimpulan dari instrument tes berbasis High Order Thinking (HOT) di kelas XI pada materi Hukum Gerak Newton yang dikembangkan peneliti mendapatkan hasil yang layak digunakan adalah 9 butir soal.
