Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui hasil belajar IPS siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri lebih tinggi daripada menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional.(2) mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPS siswa yang memiliki kemandirian belajar tinggi dengan siswa yang memiliki kemandirian belajar rendah, (3) mengetahui interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SDN 060874 Medan Perjuangan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV sebanyak 60 Siswa. Sampelnya adalah Semua siswa kelas IV yang mengambil mata pelajaran IPS sebanyak 30 siswa pada Kelas A dan sebanyak 30 siswa pada kelas B. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari tes hasil belajar IPS dan angket kemandirian belajar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Analisis Varian (Anava) dua jalur dengan desain factorial 2x2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Hasil belajar IPS siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri lebih tinggi daripada hasil belajar IPS siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh Fhitung = 3.86 > Ftabel = 2.77 pada taraf signifikan α= 0,05; (2) Hasil belajar IPS siswa yang memiliki kemandirian belajar tinggi lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang memiliki kemandirian belajar rendah. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh Fhitung = 3.74 > Ftabel = 2.77 pada taraf signifikan α= 0,05; (3) terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa hal ini ditunjukkan oleh Fhitung = 3.64 > Ftabel = 2.77 pada taraf signifikan α= 0,05. Hasil Penelitian dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran inkuiri lebih baik digunakan untuk membelajarkan siswa yang memiliki kemandirian belajar tinggi sedangkan model pembelajaran konvensional baik digunakan kepada siswa yang mempunyai kemandirian belajar rendah dan terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kemandirian belajar.
