Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan :(1) Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar pengantar bisnis mahasiswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TST lebih tinggi dari mahasiswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT. (2) Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar pengantar bisnis mahasiswa yang memiliki gaya belajar teoritis dan mahasiswa yang memiliki gaya belajar pragmatis. (3) Untuk mengetahui interaksi antara model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar pengantar bisnis.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Methodist Indonesia pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Populasi berjumlah 180 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster random sampling berjumlah 80 orang yang terdiri dari 40 orang kelas A diajarkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS dan 40 orang kelas B diajarkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT. Gaya belajar dilakukan untuk mengelompokkan mahasiswa yang mempunyai gaya belajar teoritis dan gaya belajar pragmatis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2 x 2. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah statistic deskriptif untuk menyajikan data dan dilanjutkan dengan statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur dengan taraf signifikan a = 0,05 yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Sche ffe. Sebelumnya dilakukan uji analisis berupa uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) hasil belajar pengantar bisnis mahasiswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS lebih tinggi dari pada hasil belajar pengantar bisnis mahasiswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT, dengan Fhitung = 4,158 > Ftabel = 3,99 pada taraf signifikan a = 0,05; (2) hasil belajar pengantar bisnis mahasiswa yang memiliki gaya belajar teoritis lebih tinggi dari pada hasil belajar pengantar bisnis mahasiswa yang memiliki gaya belajar pragmatis, dengan Fhitung = 16,817 > Ftabel = 3,99 pada taraf signifikan a = 0,05; (3) terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan gaya belajar dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar mahasiswa, dengan Fhitung = 31,506 > Ftabel = 3,99 pada taraf signifikan a = 0,05. Hipotesis ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS lebih tepat dari pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar pengantar bisnis mahasiswa, dan mahasiswa yang memiliki gaya belajar teoritis akan memperoleh hasil yang lebih baik dari pada mahasiswa yang memiliki gaya belajar pragmatis.
