Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar kimia
siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E
(Engangement, Exploration, Explanation, Elaboration, and Evaluation) dan
model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali
kelarutan. Yang menjadi populasi adalah kelas XI IPA 4 dan 5 SMAN 17 Medan
yang berjumlah 81 siswa, sampel berjumlah 70 orang (35 orang tiap kelas)
yang dipilih melalui teknik non-random sampling yaitu dengan memilih siswa
yang nilai hasil belajarnya homogen. Rancangan penelitian yaitu Pretest-Posttest
Control Group Design. Hasil belajar siswa dinyatakan dalam persen peningkatan
(% gain) G. Nilai %
