Abstract
Process changes the moleculer structure of a natural rubber resin called cyclo cyclization process. Formation of natural rubber resin is required also use ammonium hidroksida (NH4OH) in the process, it aims to influence the value of the acid in the resin product. The process of testing the acid on the resin product is done by addition ammonium hidroksida (NH4OH) with varying concentrations of the resin solution, and not the addition of ammonium hidroksida (NH4OH) in the resin solution. After analysis, the result of each acid number of each additional ammonium hidroksida (NH4OH) with varying concentrations of the resin solution, namely, 0.7672 mgKOH/g for the addition of ammonium hidroksida (NH4OH) 20%, 0.9590 mgKOH/g for the addition of ammonium hidroksida (NH4OH) 15%, 1.3426 mgKOH/g for the addition of ammonium hidroksida (NH4OH) 10%, 1.5344 mgKOH/g for the addition of ammonium hidroksida (NH4OH) 5%. As well as the acid obtained by 3.5424 mgKOH/g resin on the product which is not added at all ammonium hidroksida (NH4OH).
